Course homepage

What is a course homepage?

Course homepage is a page which is displayed to enrolled users (students and teachers). Course homepage presents course description and list of course activities.

Set course homepage layout

To set course page:

1. Go to: Theme settings → Courses → Course page.
2. Set the Layout option.

Course introduction

To set course introduction:

1. On course page click the Turn editing on button.
2. Edit the General course section. This is the first course section.
3. Add custom content.

You can add additional section to the course page, for example Certificate with the section course filed.

Read documentation about the Course rating.

Course summary content

To set the summary content section:

1. Edit course settings.
2. Add your content into the Course summary area.

Course teachers

To set the teachers section:

1. Go to: Course → Participants.
2. Enrol user into a course with the Teacher role.

Course custom fileds

Course custom fields allow you to add extra course information, for example skill level or hours of effort. Check Moodle documentation to know how to use course custom fields.
