Configure course homepage layouts

What is a course homepage?

The course homepage is a page that is displayed to enrolled users (students and teachers). It presents the course description and a list of course activities.

Set the default course homepage layout

To set the default course homepage layout for all courses:

1. Go to: Theme settings > Courses > Course page.
2. Set the "Layout" option.

Set a different layout for an individual course

To use a different course homepage layout for a specific course:

1. Go to: Site administration > Courses > Course custom fields.
2. Add a new custom field type DROPDOWN MENU.
3. Set the "Short name" option to "mb2courselayout" and add menu options .
4. Edit course settings and set custom homepage layout .
